MMS messages aren't going out
- To send an MMS, your phone must have Mobile Internet activated. MMS messages cannot be received on a wifi network.
- MMS messages can only be sent to full mobile numbers, MMS messages cannot be sent to short numbers.
- You can send MMS messages from Estonia abroad if the recipient of the message is using the service of one of the
- In the Telia network, you can send an MMS message that is up to 2 MB or 2048 kB. If the message is larger, and your mobile does not downsize it, your phone will display an error message.
- Make sure that the MMS settings are not set to hide the number, as you cannot send a message from a hidden number.
1. Make sure that mobile data is turned on in your mobile settings

2. Make sure you are sending the MMS message to the right number
Check that the number is correct. For international numbers, check that the number is preceded by a country code (for example +3725123456).
3. Blocking control
See if the call to this number works. If the number you’re trying to call is blocked on your phone, no calls or SMS messages will go through.
4. Make sure that airplane mode is not switched on
In Android devices: Settings – Networks – Wireless networks – Airplane mode
In iOS devices: Settings – Airplane mode
5. Check if the MMS message settings are correct
- APN: mms.emt.ee
- MMSC:

- Proxy server: 217.071.32.82 (in some devices 217.71.32.82)

in iOS devices
- Settings - Messages - ‘MMS messages’ must be turned on
- Settings - Mobile Service - Mobile Data - Mobile Data Network. Make sure the settings in the MMS block are correct. Enter them if necessary.
In Android devices
- Settings - Mobile Data - Access Point Names. Make sure the MMS settings are correct. If no settings are available, select New APN and enter the settings.
6. Restart your phone

After restarting, you will need to enter the PIN for your SIM card (if prompting the PIN is enabled in the settings). The default PIN of all Telia SIM cards is four zeros (0000). If you have changed your PIN and do not remember it,
7. Make sure that no restrictions have been applied to your connection
You can check the existence of restrictions (arrears, temporary suspension) in the or in the Minu Telia app.
7. If possible, try the SIM card on another phone
If the services work on the other device, your phone will still be at fault. If you have a device under warranty, contact your nearest .
If the services on the other device does not work either, means the SIM card or the service is faulty. You can order a new SIM card from or replace it at .
If the device does not ask for the SIM card code and cannot find coverage, this indicates a SIM card error. For a phone, the message "no SIM" or the SIM card icon with a red cross at the top of the screen.
