What does the Shield Home protect against?

The Shield Home detects and blocks dangerous links in emails that are designed to steal your sensitive data or infect your devices with malware.

Data transmission from infected devices

If cybercriminals have managed to add a device from your home network to a botnet, the Security Network helps prevent unauthorized data transmission.

Security Report

Once the Shield Home is activated, you can view a summary of detected and blocked threats in Telia’s self-service portal.

  • Threats and blocking reasons – see when and what types of threats were blocked, and why (e.g. "the site contained malware").
  • Threat history – detailed information on when and how many threats were detected.

Security report is visible in self-service under the respective internet connection.
