Telia Estonia Acquires Local Cloud Service Provider

Telia Estonia and Termnet OÜ, a cloud service provider, signed an agreement whereby Telia acquires cloud services business of Termnet.

Termnet OÜ was established in 2006. The company is focuses on providing business class server solutions and cloud services. Additionally, the company offers software licensing and SaaS (Software as a Service) services.

“Termnet’s team is an important addition to our competences in the field, as the company is very reputable and well-established having more than ten years of experience providing services local business customers,“ said Tarmo Kärsna, Head of B2B Segment at Telia Estonia.

According to Tarmo Kärsna, Telia strives to become the preferred IT partner for Estonian companies, and acquiring Termnet is an important step towards that goal.

“The merger gives our customers a wider selection of services and competence of a bigger team. The merger will create valuable synergy, which gives us more flexible possibilities to fulfil our customers’ needs,“ Taavi Viilukas, Member of the Board at Termnet.

Termnet OÜ’s revenue for 2017 was approximately 350,000. The company runs more than 200 servers.
