Watch Tallinn Music Week on Telia TV

Yesterday, the annual one-week long urban culture festival Tallinn Music Week (TMW) kicked off, and this year, it is possible to watch the festival on Telia TV via a special TMW channel.

This year, Telia customers can enjoy the ninth Tallinn Music Week via Telia TV without leaving their homes. The TMW channel will kick off on March 31 at 7 p.m. During two days, the channel will show live events taking place on the Telia-supported stage at the Sõprus movie theatre. On March 31 the stage will feature Intsikurmu festival showcase, and on April 1, an introduction to the Latvian Positivus festival. Additionally, many renowned artists will take the stage during these two days, for example Ulfur Ulfur from Iceland, Mick Pedaja, Frankie Animal, Windy Beach, Go Away Bird, and many others.

On April 1, the viewers will also be able to see several Estonian music documentaries – for example „Heart of a Wolf“ (about the Metsatöll band) and „Cosmos 69„ about the birth of Estonian rock music scene. To watch these shows, tune in to Telia TV TMW channel, MINU.TV, or Telia’s Facebook page.

Music lovers can now enjoy Telia TV video rental’s new feature –„Music films“ catalogue with an exciting selection of biography and concert films, for example „Where is Bob Dylan?“, „Walk the Line“ (about Johnny Cash), and „Robbie Williams: fans trip to Tallinn“. This is a great opportunity to get in the festival mood already at home.

Like in previous years, Tallinn Music Week together with Telia and Spotify will arrange a vote for the public’s favorite artist who will receive a €1,000 award from Telia. All voters participate in a draw for an amazing portable bluetooth speaker Bose Soundlink Mini II. To vote for your favorite artist, visit the TMW website at www.tmw.ee/et/lemmikartist or vote through the TMW app. The festival features 250 artists from Estonia and abroad. The voting is open between March 27 and April 2. The winning artist and the winner of the draw will be announced in one week after the festival on the TMW and Telia Estonia Facebook pages. In previous years, public’s favorite were Estonian rap artist Metsakutsu and Lithuanian indie rock bands BA and Garbanotas Bosistas.

In the Viru Keskus shopping center atrium, Telia City Stage will host many artists, free to the public, between Wednesday March 29 and Saturday April 1. To view the program, visit https://www.facebook.com/events/146094889248176.
