Mobile parking is the most convenient way to park. It allows you to pay for parking with your cell phone.

App PARGI.EE

The mobile app PARGI.EE makes mobile parking very convenient.

Starting and ending your parking session is fast and you will get an overview of your parking sessions over the past six months.

PARGI.EE works with phones that have an Android, iOS, or Windows Phone 8 operation system (OS). The app can be downloaded for free from Google Play, the AppStore or the Windows Store.

Not any more! The app creates an icon on your phone display that shows your active parking session. Every time you use the phone to make a call or read your e-mails, you will notice the active parking session icon.
PARGI.EE gives you an overview of your parking sessions over the past six months and information about the cost of your active parking session. Visit www.pargi.ee to see an overview of all your m-parking sessions over a longer period of time.
The app works with a mobile data connection but part of its functions are duplicated, for example when data connection fails, you can start a parking session with an SMS and end it with a call. When using the app make sure to read the messages you receive about reaching the parking limit, ending the parking session and other important information.

PARGI.EE: help

The PARGI.EE app can be downloaded from Google Play, the AppStore or the Windows Store.

NB! As the app is visible in the Windows Store based on the region you are located in, you need choose the region "Estonia" from the phone settings under "Language and region". The app has access to the following:

  • Display of the closest parking zones with a map view
  • Detailed parking zone information (location on the map, address, service provider, fees, amount payable)
  • Automatic updates of parking zones (when new zones are added or the terms and conditions change)
  • Saving up to five license plate numbers
  • Detailed information about the parking sessions over the past six months
  • Reminder about an active parking session with the possibility to extend the parking session by intervals
  • Setting the limits, and the option of choosing reminders and extending the parking session
  • Working in the mobile network and WiFi
  • When there is no data connection, you can start your parking session with an SMS and end it with a call
  • User instructions on a flier or the option to call the helpdesk

  • When you open the parking app, you need to identify the user to add the parking cost to the bill.
  • Telia customers are identified automatically via mobile data connection. If there is no data connection (e.g. when using WiFi) the customer is asked to call to a number, and be identified this way.
  • Choose the parking zone to start a parking session. If the settings of your phone allow positioning, the two closest parking zones are displayed on the first page. Choose one. If the choices do not suit you, tap on "Choose from the parking lot list" and pick a suitable zone from there.

    NB! The accuracy of positioning services is dependent on your phone’s GPS settings and reception and might not be 100% accurate. When you are choosing the zone check the physical location of the vehicle by looking at parking signs and other road signs.

  • Choose the license plate number. If you are using the mobile parking service for the first time, tap on "Please enter the plate number". If you have used the service before, the plate number of the car parked last is displayed. By tapping on the plate number you can enter up to five plate numbers. The saved plate numbers can be changed on the first page by scrolling the numbers to right and left.
  • If you wish, you can change the maximum cost limit. When it is reached the parking session ends automatically. The default limit is usually a four hour parking rate of the given zone. In the zones where a 24-hour rate is applied, the limit is the rate for 24-hour parking.

Each time you open the app, it checks if you have an active parking session. If a parking session is active the following data is displayed: parking zone, plate number, parking time, time when you reach the limit, calculated parking rate and the option of ending the parking session.

You can end your parking session with the app by tapping on "END PARKING" or by calling 1903. When you end your parking session in either of these ways the following information is displayed in the app: parking zone, plate number, length of the parking session, start and end time and cost.

  • The closest parking zones. If the phone settings enable positioning, the two closest parking zones are displayed on the front page. On an iPhone you can enable or disable the location requests of the pargi.ee app ((Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Pargi.ee). Android phone settings let you enable or disable general location services (Settings > Location services) either via a mobile network or a satellite connection.

  • To update the choice of the closest parking zones in the pargi.ee app, tap on the refresh icon between two parking zones.
  • The list of parking zones follows a certain order: under the list of cities you will find municipal parking zones; private zones are listed by the names of the parking operators.
  • You can also view the parking zones on the map by tapping on "Map" at the top of the list page. If positioning is enabled, your location and the surrounding parking zones are displayed with the icons "P" or as colored areas. When you tap on an icon or area, you will see detailed information about the chosen parking lot.

  • Before you start a parking session, you can set the maximum parking cost on the first page. When you reach the limit, the parking session ends automatically. The default limit is usually a four hour parking rate of the given zone. In the zones where a 24-hour rate is applied, the limit is the rate for a 24-hour parking session.
  • 10 minutes before reaching the limit the app reminds you of the end of your parking session and allows you to extend the parking session. If you ignore the notification or tap on "Close", the parking session lasts until the set limit is reached. If you tap on "Extend", the parking session is extended until the default limit of the zone is reached (either four or 24-hour rate depending on the zone).

  • Go to the menu of the app settings to change the interval for the reminder of an active parking session.
  • An Android phone displays information about an active parking session as an app icon at the top of the phone display. An iPhone displays the information as a notification on the phone display.

  • The balance menu displays information about parking sessions from the last six months: parking zone, plate number, the time of the start and end of the parking session and the cost.
  • The cost of the sessions displayed includes the parking cost with service fees.
  • The transactions are listed from the newest to the oldest.
  • The total cost of the parking service during a given month is displayed next to the name of the month.
